When I started this blog last fall, I intended it to relate specifically to the novel I was working on (about a group of shape-shifting dragons called Drakon--thus the title Stories of the Drakon). Well, I've recently decided to put the Drakon novel on the back-burner for a while and focus on other projects. What this means now, however, is that my blog title no longer makes sense.
The solution? A new title, of course.
The problem? I have no idea what to call it now. While I'm fairly intelligent and I think I have a good sense of humor, I'm not particularly clever. I think the best blog titles are usually kind of clever. And since I know that most of you out there are so much cleverer (more clever?) than me, I'm looking to you for help.
So I'm looking for suggestions. Help me come up with a new title for my blog.

I don't have anything specific in mind, but it would be best if it related somehow to reading, writing, books, words or my name ( J. Leigh Bailey).

i'll think about it (i'm terrible at blog names- need proof look at mine:) ) the only thing that off the top of my head is that j.leigh sounds kinda like (jelly) in my head when i read it so.... umm...

I took The Blog Book Tours class and what was stressed is the need to brand yourself through the name on your blog. If you are going to write more than one type of book, or character type etc., than you need a name that people who read your books will be able to find. That is why my blog name is my name. I want them to think of me, and I add fantasy author after it to further brand what type of writing I do. So I would recommend your name, and what genre you write following that.

What about something with a play on your name? Or... just your name? Boring, I know, but there are so many quirky blogs out there it boggles my mind. I remember the people behind the blog titles, but not the blog titles themselves.

What a fun idea.
Based on your profile info, I think your blog title should be "Writer's Anonymous" or "Owning It" or "The Right to Write".
Maybe "Armed with a Pen".
Since you write paranormal, I also came up with "Paranormal Pennings" or "Penchant for Paranormal".
Well...I'm not going to be of much help either...But I do think using your own name helps people to get to know you...

Hmmm, I'm not much help either, since I just used my name. I used to use Spilled Ink, but then, like so many people have suggested before me, I decided to start marketing my name more so that more people would recognize it. So maybe do something with your name? Like Musings of J. Leigh, or J. Leigh's Literary Rambles or I dunno. I'm not good at this game :) But hey, if you wanted to use Spilled Ink, it's up for grabs :)

Как говорилось на 2NT.ru Подскажите совет!! Встречаемся с парнем (мне 29,ему 28) 7 месяцев . Каждые выходные я оставалась у него. Был общий отдых ( неделя) . Пыталась издали зайти на диалог по-поводу будущего. Его ответ : "Я об этом еще и не думал. Мне хорошо с тобой и я этим наслаждаюсь" . Но однажды произолша размолвка и он мне высказал : "Ты от меня чего-то ждёшь. Но не могу тебе этого уяснить. Я не смогу быть больше нежным и внимательным . И твоим мужем я не стану." Он меня шокировал этим высказыванием. Но так как изначально он не давал мне никаких обещаний и надежд,поэтому мой шок еще быстро и прошёл. Мы встречаемся до сих пор. Недавно,прожила с ним 2 недели ... все было хорошо и замечательно... на первый взгляд ,что еще нужно .. Когда эти 2 недели подошли к концу ,он не захотел,чтобы я уходила..но и не останавливал .. Просто предложил остаться еще на недельку,а там видно будет .... Я подумала,что это удобный момент поговорит о будущем. Что и какие у кого мысли/планы.. Моё стремление для совместного проживания велико,но и он вроде непротив,но в также время ,он (из его слов) еще не готов... боится потерять свой блеск личное пространство и т.д. .. Конечно,я почитаю его стремление и в следствии этого согласилась с тем,что он еще не готов... но и произнесённая им фраза " что я и мужем твоим не буду" чётко подчёркивает его неготовность или же ... нежелание . Подскажите,как мне поступить ? ..Мы любим друг друга ,но вот эти его слова меня настораживают и забирают уверенность в завтрашнем дне .
